Solid, constructed, single-colour

Two masters, one grid, no colour inside either. Sixty-odd generated files, all reproducible from those two. Merch and signage are the primary use, so single-colour is the working default.

Signage & merch — the gap is what fails

Everything about this mark is chunky except one feature: the 225-unit gap between the two shapes, 11.54% of total width. That is the only thing that breaks in production.

screen print20 mm mingap 2.3 mm
engraving25 mm mingap 2.9 mm
embroidery40 mm mingap 4.6 mm

Embroidery is the strict one. 40 mm is roughly a chest logo — a cap or a sleeve needs a purpose-widened variant, not a scaled-down file. Send 20_signage/logo-single-colour-vendor.svg, never a PNG. On dark garments use the white file — adding a keyline is a new logo, not a variant.

Floors: solid 14px, outline 20px. Clear space 20% of mark height — 200 units on the grid.

Accent — held open on purpose

You left this blank, and for a merch-first identity that is the right call. Pick the accent against a real substrate — a fabric swatch, a vinyl sample book — not a screen. Screen-picked colours regularly disappoint in thread.

Held in reserve, all oklch(0.55 0.15 h) — one lightness, one chroma, hue the only variable, so they carry equal weight. When you choose, get a Pantone match from the vendor and record it in the README.

The drawn and 2:1 lineages are gone — reproducible from your originals if ever needed, and keeping three lineages is how the folder reached 36 files. Your existing media is now the archive; move the Google-coloured files into _DO_NOT_USE today.
